Drive Customer Value Growth

The Renewals Specialist will play a critical role in driving account renewals and ensuring customers transition smoothly through pivotal points to build momentum and value leading up to the renewal.

This role requires a high level of organization and coordination with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Account Executives, Legal, and Accounting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project managing the renewal experience in close partnership with assigned Customer Success Manager and Account Executive to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Retaining and increasing subscription revenue in existing customer accounts by positioning multiyear contracts and price increases
  • Migrating existing customers from legacy plans to new packaging and pricing
  • Proactively identifying lengthier renewal scenarios and maintaining a high on-time renewal rate
  • Updating renewal forecast on a weekly basis and reporting to management
  • Leveraging the renewal activity to promote upsells/new products alongside Account Executives
  • Creating client proposals and contracts for all existing customer client renewals within the book of business
  • Continuously iterating and providing feedback on the renewal experience

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in renewals, sales, or account management at a SaaS company, with a proven track record of managing a book of business comprised of SMB and Enterprise Level accounts.

They will be comfortable with negotiation and having conversations with procurement departments, with high confidence in managing customer quoting, contracts, and terms.

Strong customer-facing acumen and communication skills are essential, as well as high proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to build relationships and work across many cross-functional teams are also required.
