Customer Care Specialist Job Description

As a Customer Care Specialist at GHP Management, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional resident experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the first point of contact for all resident interactions onsite, ensuring a sense of community and outstanding living experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Acts as the first level of contact for all resident inquiries, service requests, and concerns, providing prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Community Building: Creates a positive and welcoming environment for residents, fostering a sense of community and promoting resident retention efforts.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediates resident conflicts and provides recommended alternative solutions to management for consideration.
  • Administrative Support: Assists with all inquiries, including move-in process, resident requests, follow-up, administration, renewal process, and move-out process.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Marketing: Plans and hosts community events, utilizes social media outlets to engage residents, and contributes to the resident renewal process by acting in a sales capacity to present renewal options to residents.
  • Operations: Contributes to the cleanliness and curb appeal maintenance of the property by inspecting common areas and resident amenities daily, reporting any areas that need to be cleaned to the Service Team.
Requirements:
  • Personality and Skills: Desire to deliver exceptional resident and colleague experiences in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, with a personable, positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience: 6 months to 12 months of practical experience in customer relations within Property Management or a similar industry, or 2-3 years of combination of customer relations in retail, hospitality, property management.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Regular and physical attendance is required, with frequent movement, ascension, and descension of stairs, constant positioning to bend, stoop, reach, and lift, and occasional lifting of up to 25lbs with or without assistance.
