Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
- Label and process specimens according to established procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Update patient information and maintain accurate records, including laboratory requisition forms and specimen tubes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate test results.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Phlebotomy certification in the state of Vermont preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as a practicing phlebotomist.
