Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our patient services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
