Phlebotomy Specialist

As a Phlebotomy Specialist with TalentBurst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient service centers. Your primary responsibility will be to collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collection.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded and documented.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient laboratory operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
- At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
