Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Royalty Hospitality Staffing. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients, preparing them for laboratory testing, and ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
Responsibilities:
* Collect blood and other specimens from patients using proper techniques and equipment
* Label and store specimens according to established procedures
* Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, including centrifugation and splitting
* Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing
* Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations
* Participate in annual department trainings
Requirements:
* Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
* Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* High School Diploma or GED
* 2+ years experience
