Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Operations Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Merchandising: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Associate Support: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and ensure they complete tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Customer Experience: Engage and interact with all customers, and maintain a clean and organized store to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor, and work as a team to achieve store goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
