Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Simulation Specialist and Support Coordinator to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a key member of our Technical Support Branch, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our simulation exercises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate all technical requirements for PMTEC and other exercise requirements, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and programming tasks.
  • Simulation System Operations: Operate simulation systems, including installing, configuring, and updating software as needed, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • System Integration and Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for system design, programming, documentation, and testing, and monitor system performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to resolve hardware and software issues, and coordinate the identification, resolution, and correction of problems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ensure all communications between servers, local and remote sites, and clients are fully operational, and collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Exercise Support and Planning: Support on-site system testing to ensure interoperability solutions between US, Korean, Japan, and other coalition simulation models, and assist in the planning and coordination of exercise activities.
  • Equipment Accountability and Maintenance: Maintain 100% equipment accountability, including hardware, software, and system accessories, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and updated.
  • Travel and Training: Travel CONUS and OCONUS as required, and participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical simulation and support roles.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of Information Systems and Information Technology, including Networking, VMWARE, Red Hat Linux, and Windows, and a working knowledge of large-scale distributed simulation exercises.
  • Certifications and Clearances: Must maintain an active SECRET security clearance and obtain and maintain IAT Level II and the appropriate computing environment certifications IAW DoDM such as Security+ CE.
