Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Pharmacy Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, including staffing and workflow management, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures related to the technician workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret data to ensure efficiency of the daily aspects of the pharmacy service
  • Lead the management of the technician role in all areas of pharmacy, including supply chain, tech check tech, distribution, and IV room and waste management
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the technician workflow, proposing changes that may impact the pharmacy department
  • Provide leadership support to the director and all technicians for the development of pharmacy services and THR initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge in all aspects of the technical pharmacy service
  • Serve as a liaison to other departments
  • Identify and coordinate process and quality improvement opportunities within the department
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a hospital Pharmacy Technician
  • 2 years of progressive leadership experience
  • RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • IV Certification
  • Basic keyboarding skills, Microsoft Suite knowledge, ability to multitask
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
