Position Overview:
As a Senior Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will play a pivotal role in the F-35 Simulation Design team.

Your responsibilities will encompass the complete systems engineering lifecycle, focusing on the development of tactical simulations that support critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:


In this role, you will engage in requirements engineering and verification testing across various projects, collaborating with stakeholders and customers to define and realize system needs.


Your expertise will be essential in mentoring junior engineers, providing them with the technical knowledge necessary to uphold product quality and effectively implement systems engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle.


Eligibility requirements include being a US Citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, as well as successfully passing a drug and background check.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Aeronautical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics preferred).
  • Proven experience in the Systems Engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis and verification/validation/testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple engineering teams.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with SysML and modern SysML tools (e.g., Rhapsody, Cameo).
  • Experience in developing System Requirements and allocating them to subsystems.
  • Competence in creating and executing System Test Procedures.
  • Knowledge of program and design review processes (SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, etc.).
  • Understanding of DOORS and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with Change Request (CR), Requirement, Verification, and Review life cycles.
  • Experience with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture and subsystems.
  • Proficiency in developing model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models, including Use Cases and activity diagrams.
  • Experience in laboratory and component development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product development processes.
Security Clearance Requirement:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; therefore, only US Citizens will be considered.

Work Schedule:
Full-time onsite position with a 4x10 hour work schedule, providing 3 days off per week.
