About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Management Professional to lead our customer service team at a designated cemetery location. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and promoting sales of burial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success
  • Solicit and manage leads, working closely with sales leadership to identify opportunities and enter them into our cemetery management system
  • Develop and implement effective customer service practices and standards, prioritizing excellent customer relations and productivity
  • Assist families in selecting committal spaces for immediate need and advance planning, overseeing the sales process from start to finish
  • Review inventory, making recommendations for adding desirable burial choices and ensuring adequate supplies for sales operations

Requirements

  • 4+ years of cemetery customer service/sales experience or 5 years of relevant customer service/sales experience
  • General knowledge of Catholic traditions and burial practices
  • High school diploma; college degree preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, staff management, team-oriented, and results-driven skills
  • Problem-solving skills to assist with recordkeeping and customer service issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to empathize with and console grieving families

Compensation and Benefits

  • $75K-$80K salary range
