Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient screenings, collect specimens, and administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Update patient health records, maintain examination areas, and ensure medical supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, and data entry.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
