Position Overview:
As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering quality nursing care to patients. This position is designed for individuals who are dedicated to enhancing patient well-being and working collaboratively within a medical office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing and coordinating nursing care to promote optimal health outcomes for patients.
- Engage with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient-centered care is delivered effectively.
- Maintain professionalism and adapt to the dynamic nature of daily operations within the medical office.
Qualifications:
Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:
Current practical nursing license in the state of practice.
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar healthcare setting may be preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Willingness to travel between various locations as required.
- Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Capable of performing physical tasks associated with patient care.
Physical Demands:
Position requires the ability to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting and moving patients as necessary.
Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $23.51 to $28.21, based on experience and qualifications.
