Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct training and education on daily living skills, including hygiene care, meal planning, and budgeting.
- Monitor and document individuals' progress, ensuring accurate implementation of Person-Centered Plans.
- Supervise and assist individuals with taking medications and obtaining medical treatment.
- Perform domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry, as needed.
- Transport individuals to and from day programs, community outings, and medical appointments.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and behavioral crisis intervention.
