Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Children's Mercy Kansas City is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) to join our Division of Developmental and Behavioral Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic and collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and supervision of our partial hospitalization program (PHP) for youth with medical/psychiatric complexity and youth with developmental differences and severe behavior.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, BCBAs, pediatricians, licensed clinical social workers, nurses, dieticians, child life specialists, and teachers.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and implement function-based treatment plans.
- Supervise direct-care staff (e.g., RBTs) and provide training for caregivers.
- Participate in the development of our integrated inpatient unit.
- Teach in our hospital's pediatric medical and psychology training programs.
- Engage in protected academic time for service, research, and other scholarly activities.
- BCBA-D or a PhD in a closely related area and relevant training/experience.
- Relevant experience working with youth who have developmental differences, autism, genetic disorders impacting development and behavior, and who have severe disruptive behavior.
- Eligibility for licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
