The role of Operations Manager is vital in sustaining and improving our operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business insight and a proven history of managing diverse departments to optimize productivity.

The primary focus of this position is to enhance operational effectiveness across the contents, cleaning, warehouse, and delivery sectors of the organization.

This role is essential and includes participation in a comprehensive training program to ensure mastery of operational protocols and practices.

We seek an individual who is passionate about contributing to the growth and development of the company.

Compensation:
Salary is negotiable, with potential for incentive bonuses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee inventory management, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and repacking of documents and merchandise as part of the restoration process.
  • Coordinate and manage all warehouse logistics.
  • Engage in long-term strategic planning to create initiatives that align with the company's goals.
  • Encourage collaboration among teams to foster idea exchange and cross-departmental learning.
  • Analyze departmental budgets to uncover opportunities for cost savings and profit enhancement.
  • Prepare job cost estimates using the Xactimate software system.
  • Motivate and inspire employees through positive reinforcement and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with the Owner on company priorities and projects.
  • Identify and rectify operational inefficiencies to boost revenue and productivity.
  • Spot market opportunities to drive business expansion.
  • Adjust staffing levels and schedules based on workload and priorities.
  • Ensure all operations departments are staffed with trained personnel.
  • Lead safety initiatives and participate in safety meetings.
  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular team meetings.
  • Supervise forklift operations and maintenance.
Responsible for the 5S methodology:
sort, straighten, shine, standardize, and sustain.

Note:
Specific objectives and performance standards for key responsibilities are set annually during the performance review process.

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
  • Under the guidance of the Owner: contribute to promotions; establish work schedules; manage time and attendance; provide training, including cross-training; assign, direct, and review work; conduct performance evaluations; and address performance and conduct issues within the operations team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to identify product requirements with training.
  • Eligible to drive according to company vehicle policy.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency, professionalism, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
  • Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of customer service principles.

  • Demonstrated ability in planning and managing multiple projects, problem analysis, and resolution.

  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and software systems like iCAT and Xactimate.
