Position Overview:
LEAD Technical is collaborating with a prominent manufacturer in search of an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a full-time, direct-hire role. This position offers exceptional benefits for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will possess a robust mechanical background complemented by some electrical experience in industrial maintenance, particularly within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include ensuring the optimal operation of production machinery and equipment, conducting repairs, operating plant support equipment, and executing preventative maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair machinery and equipment, disassembling as necessary to access defective components.
  • Make adjustments to ensure efficient and proper operation.
  • Operate and maintain plant support machinery, including boilers, softeners, and compressors.
  • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for all machinery and equipment.
  • Perform general industrial maintenance tasks, including working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of metalworking processes, including cutting, fabricating, and welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for installation and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment effectively, including meters and gauges.
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn about all plant operations, including production and safety equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven track record as a mechanical maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
