Role Overview

As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will play a key role in providing maintenance support aimed at achieving production goals, ensuring machine and equipment availability, and meeting operational efficiency standards. Your work will be guided by standard operating procedures, with a continuous emphasis on personal safety, the safety of your colleagues, and the quality of the products manufactured.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehend and adhere to all departmental standard operating procedures, whether in training or certified as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Engage respectfully with trainers, leads, and supervisors to clarify any uncertainties regarding safe operations or product quality impacts.
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are maintained in optimal working condition through scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment as necessary, coordinating with production personnel to minimize downtime.
  • Follow all ISO environmental and safety protocols diligently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to established cleaning and housekeeping standards.
  • Comply with all safety, environmental, and health regulations, including proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
  • Preferred candidates will possess advanced education, such as a 2-year technical degree or relevant certification.
  • Technical training or experience in electronic or mechanical technology is essential, with proficiency in Allen Bradley, PLC, and Fanuc robot controllers.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in maintenance tasks is required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, process-driven environment is advantageous.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary for performing calculations and interpreting data.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, manuals, and schematics is crucial.
  • Must obtain a forklift operator license as soon as feasible.
  • Capability to safely use and maintain assigned PPE, including respirators and safety footwear.
General Requirements
  • All employees must wear the required PPE correctly at all times.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends, is essential.
  • This role may involve exposure to hazardous materials, necessitating periodic health assessments.
  • Work will be conducted in a plant/warehouse setting, with varying conditions expected.
  • Physical requirements include frequent bending, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Standing for extended periods is a necessary aspect of this position.
