Compensation: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
POSITION OVERVIEW
Shift: 2nd - Monday to Thursday, 4:45 PM to 3:15 AM (4 x 10's)
This role is a temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties:
- Plan and execute tasks requiring expertise in electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems, including adherence to wiring specifications and compliance with local and national electrical standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic malfunctions.
- Maintain and repair manufacturing and testing equipment by assessing, testing, and replacing defective components and circuits.
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics and ladder logic for programmable controllers.
- Understand and apply pneumatic and hydraulic schematics effectively.
- Perform welding tasks using wire and stick methods, and operate plasma cutting equipment.
- Exhibit comprehensive technical knowledge of electronics, with a focus on PLC troubleshooting.
- Engage in the disassembly, assembly, and installation of industrial machinery.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintain an efficient spare parts system.
- Modify programming for robotic systems and related equipment.
- Fabricate or adjust equipment as necessary using machine tools and hand tools.
- Ensure completion of preventive maintenance tasks and maintain records of work activities.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
