Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic Level B to join our team at King Aerospace. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and modify aircraft structures, components, and appliances, including wings, fuselage, and functional components.
  • Examine engines for component damage and security, heat damage, and fluid leaks.
  • Inspect turbine blades to detect Foreign Object Damage (FOD) or material wear or failure.
  • Conduct testing of engine operation to locate the source of malfunction and perform operational checks.
  • Replace worn, damaged, and failed components, such as fuel controllers, starter/generators, etc.
  • Remove engines from aircraft, disassemble, and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including fuel and oil filter changes, cleaning screens, aircraft lubrication, and wheel and tire maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance, modification, and repair of tactical aircraft systems and their associated components.
  • Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) certification required for specific work requirements.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
Working Conditions

The noise level in the environment is usually loud. Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, and taste and smell.
