Retirement Plan Sales Consultant

Position Overview:
Talent Software Services, Inc. is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant for a direct placement opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • In this role, you will cultivate a new Retirement Plan Services business by establishing rapport with current clients and potential customers, assessing their needs, and effectively conveying valuable solutions.
  • You will oversee the entire sales cycle from identifying prospects to finalizing agreements, which includes organizing meetings, preparing support materials, crafting proposals, and delivering sales presentations.
  • Ensure timely and precise entry of information into Salesforce concerning sales and prospecting activities.
  • Offer insights on fiduciary, technical, and operational aspects of retirement plans throughout the sales process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external influencers to enhance Retirement Plan Services and expand the overall business.
  • Collaborate with team members across various business lines to promote and provide comprehensive services to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Engage actively in business line initiatives and adhere to risk management and compliance standards relevant to the financial services sector.

Qualifications:
  • A blend of education and experience, including a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in retirement plans.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets through the acquisition of new business, along with a solid understanding of investment services, plan design, industry trends, and ERISA fiduciary requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and internal partners in developing institutional retirement solutions.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in presenting Retirement Plan Services offerings to both existing clients and new prospects.
  • Experience in business development for retirement advisory services is essential.
