Position: Retirement Solutions Sales Specialist
Employment Type: Direct Hire

As a Retirement Solutions Sales Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate new business opportunities within the Retirement Plan Services sector by leveraging existing relationships with bank clients and prospective customers. Your role will involve understanding client needs and effectively presenting tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting to successful closure, including organizing meetings, preparing support materials, crafting proposals, and delivering compelling sales presentations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities and prospecting efforts in Salesforce.
  • Provide expert insights on fiduciary responsibilities, technical aspects, and operational matters related to retirement plans throughout the sales process.
  • Foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to enhance the growth of Retirement Plan Services and overall business revenue.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various business lines to ensure comprehensive service delivery to both potential and existing clients.
  • Engage actively in business initiatives and adhere to compliance and risk management standards relevant to the financial services sector.

Qualifications:

  • A combination of educational background and professional experience, including a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years in sales, ideally within the retirement planning field.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets through the acquisition of new business.
  • Solid understanding of investment services, plan design, industry trends, and fiduciary obligations associated with ERISA-governed plans is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders in developing institutional retirement business.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in presenting Retirement Plan Services offerings to both current clients and new prospects.
