Position: Content Writer
Location: Remote

Position Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced content writer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for supporting our initiatives in Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI.

As a Trust & Safety content writer, you will be instrumental in refining the linguistic capabilities of our AI systems, ensuring that the language generated is both accurate and contextually relevant.

This position demands a high level of skill in crafting and editing nuanced responses that provide valuable information while addressing sensitive or challenging topics.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in content writing, natural language processing, linguistics, and machine learning. A strong background in content moderation, linguistic research, and editing is essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and time zones. All tasks will be conducted on a client-owned platform.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficient command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in writing, proofreading, and editing diverse content types, including news articles, features, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Experience adhering to style guides and editing to maintain a specific voice and tone.
  • Desirable experience in drafting press releases, speeches, or social media content on culturally sensitive subjects.
  • Familiarity with AI technology, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a keen interest in their applications in AI-generated content.
  • Strong research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying patterns and insights from data.
  • A passion for language, creativity, and innovation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and systematic problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management capabilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compose and refine responses to user inquiries related to sensitive content.
  • Ensure that summaries uphold the welfare of individuals and society.
  • Edit and enhance content for clarity and compliance with guidelines.
  • Review summaries to guarantee 100% quality and usability for model training.
  • Collaborate with the client's product team and other stakeholders.
  • Align with project requirements while coordinating with program stakeholders.
  • Develop training materials and establish guidelines to fill documentation gaps.
  • Conduct linguistic research and analysis to tackle language-related challenges and enhance AI system performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow writers as necessary, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
