Technical Support Lab Supervisor - Technical Engagement Network (TEN) Help Desk Specialist

Argo Cyber Systems is collaborating with a U.S.

Government client to deliver essential support for on-site incident management to civilian Government entities and critical asset proprietors facing cyber threats, ensuring prompt investigation and resolution.

Contract personnel are tasked with inquiries to assess the severity of security breaches, formulate mitigation strategies, and aid in the restoration of services.

Argo Cyber Systems is in search of a Technical Engagement Network (TEN) Help Desk Specialist to bolster this vital mission.

This role necessitates a minimum of a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary Help Desk for the TEN Lab's systems and user accounts
  • Assist in the onboarding of new users with equipment, accounts, and tools
  • Address user inquiries through various communication channels in a prompt manner
  • Generate and maintain precise Tickets for Help Desk operations
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborate with Asset Management to ensure accurate records and effective asset tracking
  • Facilitate the integration of new technologies and equipment within the lab environment
  • Provide assistance to lab personnel in the processes of provisioning and distributing equipment to end users, along with maintaining the inventory database
  • Support systems administration tasks such as patching, updates, and upkeep of network infrastructure
  • Contribute insights and updates to lab standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
  • Offer support for TEN Accounts, Virtual Private Network (VPN), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Citrix), and MacBook to users

Essential Skills:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance; TS/SCI clearance is preferred

- Must be eligible to obtain DHS Suitability

- 1+ years of relevant experience

- Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux/Unix & MacOS

- Proven proficiency in the following areas:

- Asset management principles and practices

- Help Desk ticket management and procedures

- Excellent customer support skills

- Ability to maintain detailed documentation

- Capability to work collaboratively across different locations

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in drafting technical procedures and standard operating procedures

- Knowledge of virtualization automation and optimization

- Familiarity with Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

- Experience with virtual desktop solutions (Citrix, VMWare)

Required Education:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field; or a High School Diploma with 3+ years of directly relevant experience.
