Job Summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with procedures in the catheterization laboratory. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, including monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Cath Lab Technologist should possess:

  • One to three years of experience as a Technician, preferably in a catheterization laboratory setting.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to grasp, fine manipulate, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel.
  • Ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate.
