Position: Logistics Technician

Location: White Sands Missile Range (MSR), New Mexico

Schedule: Full-Time/Exempt


Role Summary:

We are looking for a Logistics Technician to join our team, providing support to a government Army Project Office. The role involves maintaining, tracking, and managing the movement of major end items (MEIs) of equipment. Candidates should possess the ability to operate wheeled vehicles with towed equipment and demonstrate strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, addressing logistics challenges related to maintenance, technical documentation, training, system testing, and Human System Integration (HSI).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the certification process for equipment transportability testing, including processing Government Bills of Lading (GBL) and managing small package shipments.
  • Providing input for HSI and technical data packages (TDP) related to command, control, and communication systems.
  • Training personnel on March Order and Emplacement procedures, covering system wiring, power configurations, and antenna assembly.
  • Conducting MEI inventories, TDP reviews, preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS), and logistics documentation reviews.
  • Supporting travel for field missions and working in outdoor environments under varying conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary to ensure mission success.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
  • 1-5 years of experience with Army Air and Missile Defense Systems, focusing on command, control, and communication systems.
  • 1-5 years of experience in property accountability, inventory management, and operator maintenance.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Ability to lift weights according to MIL-STD-1472 standards.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and available for a full-time position onsite.

Security Clearance:

An active SECRET security clearance is required.
