Key Responsibilities:

The Logistics Operations Supervisor will have a diverse set of responsibilities, which may vary based on the Program Manager's directives, but generally includes the following:

  • Accountable for the comprehensive management of site operations, ensuring adherence to all regulations and serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
  • Evaluate and assess the existing operational systems to determine their effectiveness and develop strategies for enhancements as needed.
  • Supervise the delivery of goods and services, ensuring that the organization meets customer expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Manage daily operational activities, including data analysis and report generation.
  • Collaborate with Division Managers to present findings and insights to the Program Manager and upper management, while also focusing on staff training and performance assessment.
  • Fulfill reporting obligations as per Program Manager's instructions, including performance metrics, inventory, and inspection reports.
  • Engage in program planning, financial oversight, data collection, and analytical techniques.
  • Oversee all management and scheduling aspects, including emergency operations and regular work schedules.
  • Conduct site visits throughout the project duration, documenting findings and sharing them with the Program Manager.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Program Manager to stay updated on operations and anticipate site team needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory guidelines, monitoring adherence among all employees.
  • Direct corrective actions as necessary, including resource allocation and schedule adjustments.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Review and authorize timesheets.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of management experience in logistics operations.
  • Experience in financial management and familiarity with relevant operational systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for conducting briefings and compliance discussions.
  • General supervisory and management experience, with a background in maintenance operations.
  • Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations and policies.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems.
  • Analytical skills to identify problems, gather data, and recommend actions based on established guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
