Description:

Join our Supply Chain Management team to drive the procurement strategy and negotiations for major projects, including clean energy development and Reimagine Canals initiatives.

Your role will involve:
  • Building and nurturing strategic relationships with suppliers and consultants to facilitate service agreements for clean, renewable energy projects, spanning construction, maintenance, and operations.
  • Monitoring supply chain requirements, conducting sourcing activities, managing competitive bidding processes, and finalizing agreements.
  • Collaborating closely with operations teams to evaluate procurement options and provide recommendations for equipment supplies that optimize our pipeline of renewable energy projects.
  • Staying updated on market conditions to anticipate potential impacts on cost, lead time, and supply availability.
  • Upholding strict adherence to Procurement and relevant policies, suggesting adjustments when necessary.
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by enhancing reporting mechanisms, refining vendor management practices, and streamlining processes.
  • Supporting the implementation and utilization of various procurement-related systems and tools, including those for purchasing, contract management, vendor management, and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, engineering, or equivalent work experience/training.
  • Demonstrated experience of 2-5+ years with a solid track record of accomplishments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  • Familiarity with materials and inventory management, logistics, quality assurance, quality control, maintenance, and operations.
  • Prior exposure to SAP Procurement and Ariba platforms.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in procurement processes and strategy formulation.
