About the Role

As the Lead Business Analyst of Brokerage Marketplace Strategy and Operations at Uber Freight, you will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives that enable the company to scale and improve the profitability of its marketplace. Key areas of focus will include growth, efficiency, revenue management, and pricing.

The ideal candidate will possess a mix of critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, program management, operations, and strong analytical skills. This high-impact role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product/engineering, marketplace, sales, account management, and performance marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Find and prioritize opportunities to improve the Marketplace strategy, product, value proposition, and sales and operations processes
• Lead the strategic and operational planning of the Brokerage Marketplace Operations team
• Program manage and report on critical metrics to measure performance, traction, and improvement, recommending and enacting action plans where needed
• Report on progress to senior leadership and run steering committee meetings, MBRs, and annual planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of professional experience
• Strong analytical skillset
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Strong strategic skillset
• Proficiency in Tableau
• A consistent track record of driving impact on cross-functional teams
• Experience in either technology or marketplaces
• Experience with R / Python or other programming languages
• A consistent track record of leading successful analytical teams
