Key Responsibilities- Project Review and Documentation: Review plans, specifications, and documentation to understand project requirements before fieldwork, and accurately record observations and testing results related to construction materials.
- Field and Laboratory Management: Utilize field and laboratory information management systems efficiently for data organization, and maintain accuracy of field and laboratory tools to meet industry standards.
- Special Inspection and Testing: Adhere to International Building Code (IBC) standards for testing and inspecting construction materials, and communicate with stakeholders to relay project progress and address concerns.
- Education and Experience: High School diploma/GED, 0-2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials.
- Certifications and Skills: One or more active certifications, such as American Concrete Institute (ACI) or International Code Council (ICC), and effective communication skills using the English language.
- Physical Demands: Perform the physical demands of the position, including working outdoors in varying weather conditions, walking over rough terrain, and lifting 40-50lbs.
