Position Overview

As a key leader in the Respiratory Department, the Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy will oversee the daily functions and ensure the delivery of high-quality respiratory care to patients. This role involves not only managing staff but also actively participating in patient treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Respiratory Department, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.
  • Administer therapeutic respiratory interventions as required for patient health and recovery.
  • Facilitate and support bronchoscopy procedures, collaborating with medical teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive orientation and training programs for new staff, focusing on skill development and performance evaluation.
  • Manage departmental inventory, including the procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in the provision of cardiopulmonary services, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the facility's objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all facility policies and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications
