Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective operation of respiratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures to assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in respiratory therapy and technology to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
  • 1+ year of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
