About the Role:

As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Registering patients and verifying demographic and insurance information
  • Explaining forms to patients and assisting with completion
  • Processing paperwork and maintaining confidentiality
  • Collecting patient payments and explaining benefits
  • Scheduling and rescheduling patients as needed
  • Generating daily invoices and reconciling payments

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma
  • Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cash handling and medical terminology
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but sometimes complex written or oral instructions
