Job SummaryThe Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to EOBs and patient refunds. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections, as well as a thorough understanding of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare.
Key Responsibilities- Answer patient calls regarding EOBs and research balances
- Manage patient refunds
- Process patient payments
- Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections
- Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Thorough understanding of EOBs and ability to effectively communicate with patients
- Extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to clients, guests, and patients
