Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Program Coordinator to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities within the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, including the evaluation of applications for eligibility, conducting participant re-certifications, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage eligibility assessments and maintain participant records.
  • Prepare and process contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Conduct briefings and provide information to participants and landlords regarding program guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to HUD regulations and internal policies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries from participants and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare statistical reports as needed.
  • Facilitate annual and interim re-examinations of participant income and family composition.
  • Coordinate with team members to address issues related to program compliance and participant support.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of college education or equivalent experience in a related field. Candidates must be prepared to obtain HCV Specialist certification within the first year of employment. A background in customer service, public interaction, or related fields is preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with proficiency in computer applications, are essential for success in this role.
