Job Title: Intake Coordinator

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to support our Refugee Support Services program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the reception area, assisting potential clients with program inquiries, and performing initial refugee program eligibility assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reception area and provide a welcoming environment for clients
  • Assist potential clients with program inquiries and provide general program information
  • Perform initial refugee program eligibility assessments and direct clients to appropriate programs
  • Place potential refugee clients in the group enrollment appointment sheet
  • Manage general inbox and respond to client inquiries
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or 2 years of experience in customer service or reception/front desk role
  • Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole
  • Previous experience in a non-profit or government setting preferred
