CT Scan Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Scan Technologist to join our dynamic team at Nuvance Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
Responsibilities:- Introduce and greet patients, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.
- Prepare patients for CT exams, including positioning and shielding as necessary.
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with training students and ancillary personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff, providing exceptional customer service.
- Complete all work before clocking out and leaving, ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Attend annual hospital review and departmental in-services meetings, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices.
- Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- Minimum one year of experience in CT scanning, with a strong understanding of imaging protocols and procedures.
- BLS, CT State RT License, or New Graduates under CT Temporary Practice Provisions.
- Valid ARRT certification, with ongoing continuing education and professional development.
