Reporting to the Regional Director of Business Development, the Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships with clients and prospects while identifying growth opportunities within the Central and Northwest Arkansas regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company growth by actively engaging in targeted geographical markets to discover and secure business opportunities with public and private clients, including government entities, private firms, consulting agencies, and contractors. The focus areas typically include Little Rock, Ft. Smith, and Fayetteville/Springdale, with specific markets such as transportation, manufacturing, energy, institutional, and commercial development.
  • Maintain and develop both internal (UES) and external relationships (clients, vendors, consultants) consistently.
  • Assess and identify potential new service offerings through discussions with current and prospective clients.
  • Assist in crafting proposals and presentations for potential projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback throughout the year to support project management staff with insights on market trends and necessary services.
  • Collaborate closely with corporate marketing teams to create effective tools for successful sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a minimum of 4 years of experience in business development. Training or expertise in Engineering, Geology, Construction Management, or a related field is advantageous.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in business development, with a background in the engineering and construction sectors being a plus.
  • Proven track record of securing new business and delivering exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills along with excellent oral and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.
  • A fully qualified professional capable of exercising independent judgment in business development activities.
  • Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and clients.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and collaborate with both professional and administrative personnel.
