Custom Integration Territory Specialist

Tandem Marketing is a nationally recognized manufacturers' representative firm in the Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky markets. We specialize in high-end consumer electronics with a focus on control and integration, networking, lighting and motorized shading systems, power management, outdoor audio/lighting systems, surveillance and state of the art audio/video systems.
Key Accountabilities:
- Pursue new business opportunities to penetrate and grow business in a team selling environment
- Manage all aspects of the manufacturing representative team in the region, including training, coaching, meeting sales and initiative goals, new product launches, and evaluating rep group effectiveness
- Responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Effectively present strategic and sales plans to executive management
- Communicate effectively between manufacturers and dealers (Customer Service)
- Travel within Illinois to develop relationships with customers
- Represent companies at client meetings and trade shows to promote products
Requirements:
- A minimum 3+ years' experience in territory sales or custom AV/electronics, distributor, and dealer sales experience; or combination of relevant education and experience
- Motivated self-starter with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Computer and database skills with proficiency in using the internet and software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Docs, WebEx, Skype)
- Ability to operate in a dynamic and complex work environment
- $80,000 - $100,000 annual salary, depending on experience
