Job Overview

We are seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to join our team in a travel territory position. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure seamless reimbursement processes.

This role involves visiting provider offices throughout your designated territory, fostering strong relationships, and resolving reimbursement-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in Prior Authorizations: You will have extensive knowledge of specialty drug prior authorizations through portals, benefits investigations, Medicare Part D, working appeals and denials.
  • Specialty Pharmacy Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of medical reimbursement experience in specialty pharmacy, including expertise in all aspects of reimbursement.
  • Patient-Centric Approach: You will be responsible for ensuring patients receive the medications they need by navigating complex reimbursement processes and addressing any obstacles that may arise.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Medical Reimbursement Expertise: Proven experience in medical reimbursement, particularly in specialty pharmacy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to lead and educate others in your territory, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary.
