About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Specialist to join our Federal Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and clients on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop and implement safety protocols.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate and report on safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a two-year associate degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
  • At least 10 years of industrial-related experience, with 7 or more years in safety management of construction contracts.
  • OSHA 500 certification and ability to obtain Board of Certified Safety Professionals certification (CSP, ASP, STSC) within one year.
