Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator

At Link Associates, we are committed to providing high-quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing therapeutic recreation activities for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of therapeutic recreation principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate leisure day program activities, including attendance records, transportation, and billing documentation.
- Develop and implement community-based leisure activities, ensuring positive outcomes and goal achievement for our clients.
- Coordinate and provide transportation services for our clients.
- Assist in training direct support professionals to facilitate established leisure programs.
- Collaborate with other teams to evaluate leisure services programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
- NCTRC certification or completion within six months.
- Minimum two years' experience in therapeutic recreation or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
