Position Overview:
Motion Recruitment is on the lookout for a seasoned and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to fill a pivotal role within our organization. This position offers a unique chance to establish foundational testing methodologies and frameworks, facilitating a shift from manual testing to automation in alignment with the company’s evolving objectives.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing processes, determining metrics for assessing testing efficacy, and setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for successful execution. Your primary focus will be on user interface testing, utilizing your expertise to ensure effective and reliable testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute manual testing strategies, progressively transitioning to automated solutions.
  • Establish workflows, testing standards, and assessment techniques to guarantee high-quality software outcomes.
  • Define KPIs to evaluate and enhance testing performance.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to embed testing practices within the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in software testing, particularly in UI testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong programming skills in C# or Java.
  • Extensive background in manual testing with a proven ability to transition to automation.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing testing processes and workflows.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
