Role Summary

The Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role within the Accounting & Finance Team, offering essential support to the payroll and accounts payable functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong affinity for numbers, attention to detail, and a desire for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with both electronic and physical filing of payroll and accounting records.
  • Maintain payroll and benefits information through data collection, calculation, and entry.
  • Process accounts payable invoices efficiently.
  • Manage electronic funds transfer payments and vendor statements.
  • Monitor the general accounting email inbox.
  • Provide general support by preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the month-end closing procedures.

  • Proficient in Excel, including functions such as LOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is advantageous.
