Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Payment Management
- Regularly report and process vendor payments
- Promptly resolve accounts payable concerns
- Maintain effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Review and post accounts payable entries
- Generate accounts payable reports for the Accounting Manager
- Ensure timely entry of invoices and expenses
- Process employee reimbursement requests
- Oversee job code billing
- Manage travel and credit card transactions
- Maintain vendor records for 1099 processing
- Address invoice discrepancies
- Provide financial reporting
- Conduct bank reconciliations
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports
- Support overall financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable
- Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
