Job Title: Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary:

The Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist is a critical role within Microban International, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services across our global operations. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange transportation between 3rd Party warehouses for raw materials and finished products in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
  • Process intercompany orders between legal entities for internal inventory replenishment.
  • Coordinate logistics for samples shipping to customers.
  • Maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) master data, including delivery schedules, master data entry, and hazmat information.
  • Prepare purchase orders, including ERP documentation, raw and finished goods transportation, and vendor notifications.
  • Review and process invoices from vendors, including carriers and tollers.
  • Update ERP shipping and delivery information for 3rd party warehouses and US/Canada deliveries.
  • Prepare Dangerous Goods documents for domestic and international shipments.
  • Arrange transportation between vendors and customers.
  • Support customer service for freight quotes and resolve customer issues.
  • Manage external 3rd party warehouse relationships, contracts, and resolve issues.
  • Support internal auditing of 3rd party warehousing to ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Provide support to other functions, including supply chain, customer service, and on-site warehouse teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and three to five years' experience in logistics and supply chain.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AX (SAGE), Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, and Web browsers (Chrome, Edge).
  • Dangerous goods transportation certificates (IATA, IMO, IMDG) required.
  • Knowledge of international logistics terms and conditions, including Incoterms, Harmonized System codes, customs documents, and international Dangerous Goods regulations.
