Job Summary
Atrium Health is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Warehouse Operations team. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, including identifying, counting, and processing issued supply documents. The successful candidate will perform routine functions necessary for the issue of storage boxes and delivery of supplies, materials, and related activities. The Supply Chain Specialist will process transactions accurately and timely as a result of receiving physical goods from suppliers, or returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, or the filling of customer orders. This individual will execute transactions inside the management system, utilizing both PC and RF scanner technologies to process transactions accurately. Additionally, the Supply Chain Specialist will review and verify all documentation used throughout the process to ensure thoroughness and accuracy. This role involves operating all powered and non-powered equipment in a safe manner and transporting and storing all goods in a safe manner to prevent damage to the goods. The Supply Chain Specialist will also supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies, ensuring that equipment and supplies are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment. This individual will remove non-functional equipment and supplies from service and report problems to the proper department(s) for corrective action. Furthermore, the Supply Chain Specialist will inspect working and storage areas, ensuring clean and orderly conditions. This role requires working safely, complying with all department, system, and OSHA safety regulations, as well as performing good housekeeping. The Supply Chain Specialist will complete and submit daily the inspection checklist when using any powered piece of equipment (if required).

Physical Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to work in the patient care areas independently, often under stressful conditions. This individual will be able to support multiple function areas during the shift, requiring lengthy periods of standing and walking. Frequently, this role will require sitting, stooping, and stretching to perform job duties. The Supply Chain Specialist will also require frequently pushing and/or pulling equipment and supplies. This individual will be able to lift up to 75 pounds and attend to several stimuli simultaneously. Additionally, the Supply Chain Specialist must be able to maintain emotional stability under stress.

Education, Experience, and Certifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required for this role. Equivalent and related work experience is preferred. Depending on the facility, a valid driver's license (no violations in the last 3 years) may be required. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and location.
