Job Title: Principal Research and Advanced Design Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Test Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a Principal Research and Advanced Design Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, creating CONOPs documents, and overseeing instrumentation setup and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing test plans and procedures to ensure the successful execution of tests
  • Creating CONOPs documents to outline the concept of operations for test activities
  • Overseeing the setup and management of instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Providing support for demonstrations and field exercise tests
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience, or Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related professional/military experience, or Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher, with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with generating technical documents and working with various software/data processing tools
  • Proven experience with test planning and reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in a STEM discipline
  • Understanding of common Test Engineering test methodologies and practices
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience in creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and/or executing program budgets

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $92,600 - $139,000, with the potential for a discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives.
