Position Overview

A Senior Account Executive is an integral part of our dynamic sales team at Orange Barrel Media + IKE Smart City, serving as the primary liaison between our company and our esteemed advertising partners.

This role offers a stimulating and prosperous path within the advertising sector, blending sales acumen with a deep understanding of client needs.

The Account Executive is pivotal in forging robust relationships with clients, crafting strategic advertising proposals, and closing deals that propel the growth of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and prospect new clients while proposing targeted marketing leads based on need.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Independently manage time, travel, and resources to maximize the number of sales calls.
  • Target industries for annual, seasonal, and/or short-term advertising buys.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and agreements to prospective and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with internal creative department and clients to assist in development of effective advertising campaigns.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts optimizing a win-win result.
  • Manage, maintain, and grow current client base.
  • Maintain excellent external and internal relationships.
  • Review space availability for clients as requested and follow up with proposals/grids of details.
  • Search out business leads and trending products.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Previous experience in OOH, Digital, or Broadcast media is a plus.
  • Must have a proven record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong communicator with superior written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and translate client needs into a viable media plan.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to quickly assess unfamiliar or unexpected situations and offer creative solutions.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Advanced in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Compensation

The base compensation for this role is $50,000 - $125,000 per year plus commission.
