Job Title: Clinical Consultant

Overview

As a Clinical Consultant, you will work closely with OCFS child welfare staff to provide expert clinical consultation, training, and critical incident management services. Your primary goal will be to ensure that these professionals have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver training sessions to OCFS staff on clinical topics, both in-person and remotely.
  • Provide individual and group support, case consultations, and CISM services to OCFS staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Independently licensed as an LCSW or LCPC in the state of Maine (or conditional licenses considered).
  • At least 3 years of experience in child welfare, foster care, and/or mental health.
